Panorama is a small establishment with a personal and exclusive touch. Our aim is to offer an individual service, thus we only host one party at a time.
Our concession includes a variety of biotopes and presently proudly offers some twenty species of plains game to hunt, with highlights such as Roan, Sable and black-faced Impala.
Our guests are accommodated in comfortable rooms with en-suite bath, shower, toilets and 220V electricity. You will find an outside bar with a rustic lapa and 'braai' and an unconventional swimming pool to cool off after the hunt. We offer an informative library with books on a wide variety of Namibian themes and television film presentations on our country. For the long cold winter evenings you are hosted in our heated inside bar. You are offered a typical German- Namibian cuisine - juicy Namibian beef and delicious venison dishes, served with own-grown vegetables and complemented with sophisticated desserts.
Excellent photographic opportunities are offered from our game-viewing hides and on our game drives in open vehicles. Over 197 species of birds have been recorded on Panorama and it is therefore a good place for bird-viewing. Interested guests can also participate in walks, climb mountains, study the interesting vegetation, go on horse outrides, swim in the pool or go shopping in town.
The name Panorama was derived from the magnificent scenery and picturesque sunsets that are traditionally viewed from special spots on top of mountains, while enjoying cheese and wine. A most clear and beautiful view of the surrounding area to the west and the vast Namibian night-sky dotted with stars are unique to the country.
